Angélica Chavarro is an artist graduated from the fine arts programme at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She has developed her artistic work in a continuous manner for over 20 years. She has framed her artistic practice in projects within specific moments and contexts of creation, resulting in encounters and findings from her reflections on her own surroundings and life experiences. Since then, she has participated in individual and collective exhibitions in Colombia and abroad.

She currently belongs to Proyecto Faenza, an artistic group associated by their common interest of conveying art in multiple scenarios. The group contributes to bringing sensibility and education of the public, through its collective work, management of projects and innovative proposals.
